Collectibles: The Memorial Correale Returns O

Weekend of Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September 2023 not to be missed in Castellammare di Stabia. The Correale Memorial returns, this year for the first time inside the former municipal tent, a large room located in the center of the city in viale Puglia n° 4,a few steps from the two exits of the Circumvesuviana Naples-Sorrento. With really short and fast journeys, the possibility of visiting the famous archaeological areas of Pompeii, Castellammare di Stabia, Torre Annunziata and Herculaneum, or enjoying the fabulous spectacle of the Gulf of Naples from the top of Vesuvius or from Monte Faito, reachable in just a few minutes with the suggestive funicular. For collectors enthusiasts or simply curious people, the 59th event of numismatics, philately, paper money, cartophilia, bibliophilia, tokens, telecards and various objects is scheduled, organized by the "Tempo Libero" Club Association of Castellammare di Stabia. The opening and closing times are Saturday 23 September, from 9am to 6pm, while Sunday 24 September, from 9am to 12pm, admission is free, bar-restaurant service available, large private secure car park. A two days dedicated to timeless objects that have marked our history, a long journey among rare coins, admiring true works of art, remembering a noble Italian tradition, paper money, to appreciate the mastery and creativity of the engravers of commemorative, military and religious medals, exploring the philatelic universe, which tell of historical, unique and unrepeatable fragments and postcards that depicted architectural and artistic beauties from all over the world. A unique and rare experience to inspire minds, learn historical, geographical, economic and scientific notions, thanks to the presence of expert scholars and experts from every region of Italy. A whirlwind of emotions, sharing and participation between collectibles, almost unknown, now disused, and absolute rarities: Ancient and modern coins, stamps, Italian and foreign banknotes, military decorations, postcards, postal history, tokens, prints, watches, folders, illustrative bulletins, postal stationery, albums, sacred images, telephone cards, newspapers, posters, books, comics, trading cards, military calendars, writing pens, pins, brooches, various objects, accessories and binders for collections. It will be possible to exchange, buy, sell collectibles, have coins and stamps valued or appraised. In memory of the founder and President of the "Tempo Libero" Club Association of Castellammare di Stabia Salvatore Correale, who passed away prematurely on 28 March 2013,leaving an unfillable void.
