M. to midnight The Polo Museale Sapienza (PMS) reopens the doors of its museums again this year, returning to participate in the prestigious event of international importance European Museum Night 2025,scheduled for Saturday, May 17,2025.With the Maggio Museale event, the Sapienza Museums will welcome visitors starting at 3: 00 p. M, offering families, children and the general public the opportunity to discover and admire their collections completely free of charge and to take part in fun and engaging educational play workshops and guided tours. This preview of the activities of the Sapienza Museums then flows into the program of the Night of the Museums 2025,starting at 8: 00 pm with the concert of the Salt Street Band on the terrace of the Rectorate and will continue until midnight with a wide range of exhibitions, events, thematic guided tours and numerous workshops together with other cultural promotion initiatives. This extraordinary event marks the eighth edition of the Maggio Museale of the PMS and represents a unique opportunity to experience the university space in an alternative way, giving the possibility to a large and varied audience to take part in a moment of discovery, fun and meeting from the early hours of the afternoon until late at night. The added value of this unmissable artistic and cultural event is the ease of access to the spaces of the Polo, thanks to the completely free provision of the internal parking of the university campus and the opening of two entrances, the first located in P. Le Aldo Moro 5 and the second in Viale dell'Università 38.Furthermore, the proximity of the numerous museums allows you to quickly reach and visit without effort a wide range of structures and collections. THE SAPIENZA MUSEUM CENTRE The Sapienza Museum Centre, under the presidency of Fabio Attorre and directed by Claudia Carlucci, represents one of the most important cultural and scientific institutions within the Capital and the University of Rome. It includes 19 university museums, 7 of which outside Sapienza divided between Rome and Latina, each bearer of its own specificity and cultural identity.
