40th Gran Fondo Val Casies

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 February 2024 will celebrate the 40th edition of the Granfondo Val Casies in South Tyrol. The ski-marathon is preparing for a 'Jubilee' which will celebrate the great passion it has lived since 1984.A passion shared by all, starting from the organizing committee led by Walter Felderer, together with more than 400 volunteers and 17 sports associations valley amateurs. The distances of 30 and 42 km have been confirmed, to be faced in the classic way on Saturday and Sunday in skating, along the paths that wind through the wonders of the valley. Those who prefer not to pay attention to the stopwatch can opt for the Just For Fun. Obviously there are the rich refreshment points along the routes and the legendary 250-metre apple strudel. Among the many surprises for the four decades of history and the numerous collateral events, the Mini Val Casies will not be missing: on Saturday 17 in the afternoon even the little ones will celebrate an important milestone, that of the 30 editions. The Gran Fondo Val Casies reflects the splendid South Tyrolean valley and its entire community: welcoming, passionate, helpful and with deep roots. A unique granfondo loved all over the world ready to toast its first 40 years to face as many with the usual enthusiasm.
