Horn Attacke, a phenomenal duathlon involving the disciplines of running and ski mountaineering, in a race that is 20 km long and features the beauty of 2,000 metres of altitude difference. From the city centre to the summit of the Corno del Renon, where the view sweeps over fascinating scenery. The 5th edition will take place on 2 March 2024.The event is open to females and males with the possibility of competing in different ways: the individual, designed for those who want to take on the challenge alone, or the relay for pairs of two women, two men or mixed, with the athletes taking turns at the Pemmern station. The first runner will be engaged in the race, while the second will face the final stretch on skis, but there is also the individual 'mountaineering' option reserved for those athletes who will set off from Bolzano already equipped with ski touring gear and carry it on their shoulders to the changeover area, to then put it on and face the final 7 km on skis. An even tougher version of this challenge, with which to rediscover the bittersweet taste of fatigue and old-fashioned skiing, competing first and foremost with oneself. Those competing in this special classification will be awarded the 'Ulli Seebacher' prize, in memory of one of the race's creators, who died prematurely. With a willing and ready committee, an environment that needs no introduction, open registrations and a race that is nothing short of adrenaline, nothing seems to be missing, and so. The countdown to 2 March can begin.
