On November 7,2026,at 8: 30 PM, the splendid and refined Sala Piatti in Bergamo will host a concert dedicated to Antonio Vivaldi’s masterpiece: "The Four Seasons. " This event, organized by the agency Opera e Lirica srl, offers a powerful and emotional listening experience within one of the most prestigious cultural settings in the city. This exclusive experience will feature violin soloist and conductor Elvin Dhimitri, accompanied by a string quartet and harpsichord. As the first violinist of Opera e Lirica, Elvin Dhimitri boasts a consolidated international career in prestigious orchestras, including the Toscanini Philharmonic of Parma and the Nuova Scarlatti of Naples. He is the former concertmaster of the Rome Philharmonic and a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Rome and the Lazio region. A leading interpreter of the Baroque repertoire, he has achieved extraordinary success throughout Europe with his acclaimed performance of Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons, " renowned for its communicative power and impeccable technique. He has performed to sold-out audiences in venues such as the Ateneo de Madrid, Casa Schuster in Milan, Teatro Niccolini in Florence, the Monumental Complex of Donnaregina in Naples, the Sala dei Giganti in Padua, and many others. The choice of Sala Piatti—a true 1903 Art Nouveau jewel famous for its acoustics—reflects the desire to offer a unique listening experience in the heart of Bergamo. The space was selected to best enhance the evocative power, sound dynamics, and emotional nuances typical of the Baroque repertoire, offering an intimate and profound encounter with music in an exceptional location. Although the theme of the seasons was widespread in the Baroque era, Antonio Vivaldi revolutionized it with unprecedented pictorial and emotional capacity. The work reflects the dramatic vision of the man-nature relationship typical of the 17th century: influenced by Galilean discoveries, Baroque man observed the cosmos with a mixture of wonder and fear. Vivaldi dramatizes nature through free melodies, harmonic contrasts, and driving rhythm, making the listener a participant in a living narrative: from spring songs to summer storms, up to the rigors of winter.
