MILANO SCULTURA 2026 Tenth Edition October 2–4,2026 Concessionaria 23 Via Maiocchi 23,Milan Milano Scultura returns to the heart of the city, celebrating its tenth edition by launching a new phase in its history. From October 2 to 4,2026,the event—conceived and directed by Ilaria Centola—will take place at Concessionaria 23.This former industrial parking garage, recently converted into a contemporary art venue, offers a unique and distinctive setting for a fair that has, since its inception, stood as Italy’s only event dedicated entirely to sculpture and three-dimensional art forms. The return to Milan holds both symbolic and strategic significance. After exploring dialogues with the landscape and open spaces, Milano Scultura reconnects with the urban environment by choosing a location that embodies the city’s ongoing transformation. Originally an industrial workshop in the early 20th century, then a parking garage, and later a car dealership, Concessionaria 23 now stands as a new cultural hub where industrial heritage and contemporary artistic inquiry coexist. It offers an ideal environment for showcasing works that examine the interplay between material, space, and architecture. “The contemporary sculpture market is currently at a standstill; we need confidence, vision, and the courage to invest in the talent of tomorrow. Milano Scultura continues to play its part, but today, more than ever, greater institutional involvement is essential. Institutions should not merely support works destined for museums but should champion the concept of public art—a cultural investment that enhances shared spaces. We believe in this vision; for ten years, we have selected venues that tell stories of life and labor. We will continue to do so, because every great vision originates with those who have the courage to believe in the future while keeping an eye on the past and its ideals, ” states Ilaria Centola, the event’s founder and director. Over the past decade, Milano Scultura has helped foster an increasingly broad dialogue regarding the language of contemporary sculpture, tracking its evolution and bringing together galleries, artists, collectors, curators, and the public. While sculpture was long considered a marginal form of expression compared to other media, it now stands as one of the most fertile areas of contemporary artistic inquiry, capable of spanning diverse materials, technologies, installation practices, and new ways of engaging with space. The tenth edition continues this journey by showcasing a selection of Italian galleries presenting artists from various generations and stylistic backgrounds, offering a comprehensive overview of the many directions in contemporary sculptural practice. In addition to the fair itself, the program features installations, performances, and special projects that expand the dialogue between art, society, and memory, confirming Milano Scultura as a cultural platform capable of transcending the traditional art fair model.
