The Marcialonga season continues unabated, and on May 31,Predazzo will once again serve as the setting for a major cycling celebration, the Marcialonga Cycling Craft, where strength, determination, and passion will be the only true allies in conquering one of the most iconic long-distance races in the Alps. The start is set in Predazzo, where the route will take participants toward Moena and the Val di Fassa before tackling the Passo Costalunga. After the long technical descent along Lake Carezza, the race really heats up with the climb to Passo Pampeago, one of the day’s toughest challenges, before the return to Predazzo or the decisive choice for those wishing to tackle the more demanding 135-km route with 3,900 meters of elevation gain. For the latter group, the route will also include the San Pellegrino Pass—the scene of epic battles in the Giro d’Italia—and the subsequent climb up the Valles Pass, to be tackled before the final descent through the Paneveggio Nature Park to the finish line in Predazzo. A finale that rewards those who have managed to pace their energy and courage throughout the day. Marcialonga Cycling Craft is also part of the two prestigious Alè and Nalini Road Series circuits, and, most importantly, it is held under the auspices of ACSI, which has always prioritized amateur cycling. As always, the Marcialonga committee aims to provide a complete experience suitable for all participants. That’s why there will also be a space in Predazzo designed for younger riders with the Mini Cycling event, and the Marcialonga Bike Experience won’t be missing either, on Saturday, May 30—a two-wheeled adventure set against the landscapes of the Fiemme and Fassa Valleys, where participants will traverse a dense network of trails dedicated to e-bikes, gravel, and MTB, pedaling through green meadows, forests, and breathtaking views of the Dolomites.
