At the "Ciocco" appointment with the Italian MTB Championships on 27 and 28 July 2024.The suggestive estate once again becomes the protagonist of fat wheels. Ciocco Sport Lab APD at work to host yet another successful event. Saturday 27th will be an adrenaline-filled day for Cadets, Rookies, Juniors and Masters with the XCC race that, being among the most recent on the mountain bike scene, will see the Italian title awarded for the third time in its history. On Sunday 28th the excitement will not begin to subside and the 'Eliminator' race will be staged, which will see all categories from Rookies to Masters compete. After the qualifying phase, the athletes will compete in batteries of four and the first two at the finish will advance to the next rounds. The bikers who will win the 'big final' in a format that is one of the most snappy and adrenaline-pumping on the MTB scene will win the title. In fact, all 'elimination' trials take place on short courses, usually between 500 and 1000 metres, which can be enriched by technical elements and obstacles of various kinds such as steps, steep gradients, bridges or wooden structures. The Il Ciocco Estate is not new to the MTB scene and has indeed repeatedly played a leading role in prestigious events, hosting, among others, the first MTB World Championship in Europe, the European Championship and World Cup in bike trial, countless national XC races and even editions of the Italian Youth XC Cup, the first Italian Pump Track Championships and the European Youth XC Championships. With next summer's races, another important page will be written in the ten-year history of the Tuscan estate that, with its 600 hectares of low hills and higher elevations, offers a naturalistic context that is more unique than rare.
