G. Mastromei International Opera Competition

The Gianpiero Mastromei International Opera Competition for young opera singers is back with its second edition. The competition will take place in Camaiore (LU) at the TEATRO DELL'OLIVO in Via Vittorio Emanuele n. 229 on 16 – 17 and 18 May 2024.The Competition is open to young opera singers, of both sexes, Italian and foreign citizens, divided into two categories as specified below: Cat. "Verdi note": students attending or recently graduating from musical high schools born after 01/01/2004; Cat. A: Young performers of the operatic repertoire born after 01/01/1994.To participate in the competition, candidates must send the duly completed registration form, available on the website www. Concorsogianpieromastromei. Com, no later than 11.59pm on 13 May 2024.The competition rehearsals will take place at the TEATRO DELL'OLIVO in Camaiore (LU) Via Vittorio Emanuele n. 229; May 16th and 17th will be reserved for the preliminaries and semi-finals (behind closed doors).
