Following a sold-out run and great success in 2025 with the performance of "The Four Seasons, " Maestro Elvin Dhimitri returns as the protagonist in the prestigious Sala dei Giganti of Palazzo Liviano—the magnificent Paduan hall serving as the backdrop for this highly anticipated event. Sala dei Giganti di Palazzo Liviano The Sala dei Giganti is one of Padua’s most prestigious venues, famous for its grand 16th-century fresco cycle depicting illustrious men of antiquity as models of past virtue and wisdom. Located at the heart of the city's humanist culture, this space was chosen for its exceptional natural acoustics and architectural elegance, elements that perfectly enhance the dynamic nuances of the ensemble. Within this setting, the “Violin Love” program finds its ideal dimension, blending high-quality music with an invaluable artistic heritage. Elvin Dhimitri The star of the evening is solo violinist and conductor Elvin Dhimitri, first violin of Opera e Lirica and a leading performer on the contemporary scene. Formerly the first violin of the Rome Philharmonic Orchestra, Dhimitri has collaborated with institutions such as the Toscanini Philharmonic in Parma and the Nuova Scarlatti in Naples. Known for his flawless technique and powerful expressive energy, the artist personally crafts the original arrangements for the program—qualities that have earned him sold-out performances in major European concert halls. Program The repertoire of “Violin Love” explores romance in all its nuances: from the classical lyricism of Beethoven to the passion of Astor Piazzolla, reaching the nostalgia of grand soundtracks composed by Ennio Morricone and John Williams.
